Precision Play
Precision Play is the second phase in our developmental pathway and is designed for players ages 8 to 10 who are ready to refine their technique and begin learning the “why” behind the game.
This program builds on the foundation of Phase 1 (First Touch) by helping players develop more precision in their movements, passes, and decisions. Sessions are fun and competitive, but with more structure and challenge, introducing players to real game situations with limited space, time, and pressure.
Through guided coaching and age-appropriate competition, players begin to understand how to use their skills in context — when to dribble, when to pass, and how to support teammates.
Cycle 1: Core Control
Refining the skill to control the game
Core Control is the first 12-week progression in the Precision Play phase. It focuses on helping players become more coordinated, confident, and purposeful in how they receive, manipulate, and move the ball.
Through structured weekly sessions, athletes improve their balance, posture, and awareness, while learning how to execute precise first touches, clean turns, and quick reactions under light pressure. This cycle emphasizes both individual ball mastery and simple decision-making within realistic game moments.
Each sub-cycle builds upon the previous one to gradually increase technical challenge and speed of play, always maintaining a fun, supportive learning environment.
🔴 Balance & Control (Weeks 1–12)
⚫ Touch & Turn (Weeks 13–24)
⚪ Receive & React (Weeks 25–36)

Proper body positioning and foot placement
Dribbling while maintaining balance and posture
Rhythm-based coordination and body control
Control at different speeds and directions
🔻 Touch & Turn

Cycle 2: Smart Moves
Turning skill into structure
Smart Moves is the second 12-week cycle in our Precision Play phase and is all about helping young players become more intelligent movers and decision-makers on the field.
Building on the technical base from Core Control, this cycle introduces the concepts of combination play, support movement, and game decisions in simplified but realistic training environments. Players begin learning when and how to support, when to combine, and how to make the right decision at the right time — with or without the ball.

One-touch and two-touch combinations
Movement immediately after passing
🔸 Move & Combine
